Sunday
Services: Our
Sunday morning worship services begin at 9:00 A.M. We
worship through song, prayer, and in the hearing of the word of God.
Immediately following the morning worship service there is a time of fellowship
with
refreshments. The Sunday school hour begins at 10:45 A.M. We
have classes for all ages groups: children, Jr./Sr. high, college, and adult.
Life Groups: Life groups provide a time of fellowship,
discipleship, and Biblical
instruction. We believe these group activities are essential
to the growth of the individual. Our life groups are offered at different
times, varying locations, and examine various topics. All CC attendees
are encouraged to "get connected" with a life group.
Bible studies: As the Bible is the written word of God,
it is vital that we read and study His word regularly. Christ Covenant
provides instructor facilitated Bible study for both men and women.
Youth activities:
In our current age, there is probably no more critical group for instruction,
discipleship, and encouragement than our youth. Christ Covenant affirms
the Biblical role of parents and supports this parental mandate by providing
a Jr./Sr. High youth group on Wednesday evenings throughout the
year.
A special
youth
focused
trip
is
made to HoneyRock camp each January.
College students:
Christ Covenant welcomes college students
from our local universities and colleges. We believe it is critical
for these students to be connected with a church.
Christ Covenant has been blessed by the attendance and participation
of many college students. College students are encouraged to be
active in our church; many participate in the music of
the church and assist in the instruction of our youth.
We have a special life group designed to meet the specific needs
of the college age and young
adults.
Ladies retreat: Each year many ladies of
the church are able to escape their daily cares and the daily stresses
of life
with a weekend get away. Much fun and fellowship are shared by
all as the ladies participate in a weekend designed specially for them.
Each retreat offers several sessions by a guest speaker.
Men's retreat: Each year, after the ladies retreat,
many men of the church call for a retreat of their own to "escape
the stress and trials of a weekend without their wives." Currently
there are no plans to establish such a retreat.
Other
opportunities:
Throughout the year there are many other opportunities to minister
to the members of the church and to our community.
The ladies
of the church gather to create blankets for the children
staying in Ronald McDonald houses. The
youth participate in La Crosse's Neighbors Day and assist many elder
members of Christ Covenant with the maintance of their homes and yards.
Many members enjoy quilting/crafting and periodically
offer retreats at the church or other locations. Recently we have begun
a "game night". Game night is open to everyone and is great time
for fellowship in a casual atmosphere. Check our calendar for any of
these events that may be of interest to you.

PCA in fulfilling their calling to plant, grow, and multiply churches
in all kinds of communities throughout the United States and Canada.
In addition to providing direct services to facilitate all aspects
of church planting, MNA coordinates resources for church revitalization,
